I would not be the woman I am today if it were not for many opportunities that I received and blessings bestowed upon me. I believe in my heart and soul that when we receive, we must extend our gifts back out into the world, both in service and in financial contribution.
When you invest in your success through working with me, you’re not only helping yourself, but you’re also helping support children, girls and women entrepreneurs in developing nations, and much more.
There are several causes that are dear to me and that I will continue to support. Here are a few:
The mission of Children Today is to foster long-term stability and success in children and families who are facing homelessness or who are involved in the child welfare system.
Their vision is that all children under age six who have experienced homelessness or abuse and neglect will have a safe, nurturing place to spend their days playing, learning and growing, while their parents take steps towards stability.
For the Child focuses on building healthier lives for children and families, free of abuse, neglect and violence. Their vision is to build a community that provides a circle of safety and possibility for children – one child at a time, one family at a time, one program at a time. For over 40 years For The Child has strengthened families, prevented the trauma of child abuse, neglect and exposure to violence and helped local low-income children and families heal when it has occurred.
The Challenger Division was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League to enable boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school, to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide. Today, more than 30,000 children participate in more than 900 Challenger Divisions worldwide.
